Podcast Guest Spot on The Lachlan McLeod Show

This latest guest spot by yours truly on The Lachlan McLeod Show focuses heavily on the discussion of Amazon's recent decision to cut Australia off from purchasing from its international sites due to new GST laws for purchases under $1000. We talk about what it will potentially mean, the wider implications and its impending impact on those who rely on the variety and accessibility of sites like Amazon as a part of their independence.

And yes. Amazon are cutting Australia off.  It's totally a thing that's happening.

The Lachlan McLeod Show is about navigating life with quadriplegia. It focuses on his passions and adventures in daily living.

EDIT 29/5/19: SADLY, THESE PODCASTS ARE NO LONGER ONLINE. THIS BLOG POST REMAINS AS AN ARCHIVE ONLY.

YOU CAN LISTEN HERE

It's also embedded on the right hand side of the screen just above Recommended Links.

We talk about various action dollies and Lachlan asks me questions about the origin of $1 Hulk Bloke on Instagram/Youtube and the recent video Toy Talk. We mention Deadpool 2 very briefly and that you should totally see it. And that we bought that new Marvel Legends Ghost Rider. OFF AMAZON.

DEAR SANTY: A HOARDSMAS WISHLIST.

I was already planning a Christmas Wishlist episode here on Hoard World but upon recently discovering the existence of The League Of Extraordinary Bloggers, it seemed even more worthwhile!

The League was created and spearheaded earlier this year by Brian over at the website Cool And Collected to basically spread the blogging love by sharing a topic across as many participating websites as possible each week. Imagine that! A whole host of independent blogs coming together and uniting with different takes on the one topic! Then, they all link to each other's entries - increasing traffic, exposing new readers and growing the community!

Giving and sharing is supposed to be what Christmas is all about so I can think of no better time than now to join The League Of Extraordinary Bloggers with my own take on this week's assignment: Wishlists.

"The big guy is on his way! What's on your Christmas wish list this year?"

WE MUST ISSUE A RARE *SPOILER* ALERT FOR THOSE WHO CAN STILL ENJOY CHRISTMAS.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
